FC København was one of two clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Invitational Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 04.
In addition to FC København, 19 other teams from 7 different countries played in Boys 04. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof FC København could be found in Group B together with FC Honka, Västerås IK, Vålerenga Fotball and Hammarby IF FF. FC København continued to Play-Off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to 5-6, but lost it against IF Brommapojkarna with 1-2. In the Final, AIK won over IF Brommapojkarna and became the winner of Play-Off A in Boys 04. FC København comes from Köpenhamn which lies approximately 530 km from Djursholm, where Invitational Cup takes place.
