Silver medal! Reached second place in Play-Off B
Vålerenga Fotball was one of three clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Invitational Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 02.
In addition to Vålerenga Fotball, 27 other teams from 7 different countries played in Boys 02. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Vålerenga Fotball could be found in Group G together with BK Höllviken, Örebro SK FK and IFK Lidingö FK. Vålerenga Fotball made it to Play-Off B after reaching 4:th place in Group G. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Hammarby IF FF with 5-6. Thereby Vålerenga Fotball finished second in B02 Play-Off B during Invitational Cup 2014. Vålerenga Fotball comes from Oslo which lies approximately 420 km from Djursholm, where Invitational Cup takes place. The area around Oslo does also provide two additional clubs participating during Invitational Cup 2014 (Stabæk Fotball and Lørenskog IF). 7 games playedGoals |
