IFK Lidingö FK was one of 18 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Invitational Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 04.

In addition to IFK Lidingö FK, 15 other teams from 4 different countries played in Boys 04. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof IFK Lidingö FK could be found in Group C together with FC Trelleborg, FC Jazz and IFK Göteborg.

IFK Lidingö FK continued to Play-Off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group C. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against PAOK FC with 2-3. In the Final, PAOK FC won over AIK and became the winner of Play-Off A in Boys 04.

IFK Lidingö FK also participated in Boys 03 during Invitational Cup 2014. They reached the 1/4 Final in B03 Play-Off B, but lost it against Djurgårdens IF FF with 4-5.

IFK Lidingö FK comes from Lidingö which lies approximately 5 km from Djursholm, where Invitational Cup takes place. The area around Lidingö does also provide five additional clubs participating during Invitational Cup 2015 (Hammarby IF FF, IF Brommapojkarna, AIK, Jarlabergs IF and FC Djursholm).
