Särö IK was one of 18 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Invitational Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 03.
In addition to Särö IK, 23 other teams from 6 different countries played in Boys 03. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Särö IK could be found in Group D together with IF Brommapojkarna, Stabæk Fotball and TuNL. Särö IK continued to Play-Off B after reaching 4:th place in Group D. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Sjömarken/Sandared IF with 0-5. In the Final, FC Djursholm won over Sjömarken/Sandared IF and became the winner of Play-Off B in Boys 03. Särö comes from Särö which lies approximately 410 km from Djursholm, where Invitational Cup takes place.
