AIK was one of 18 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Invitational Cup 2015. They participated with two teams in Boys 04 and Boys 03 respectively. Two teams played until Final in Play-Off A; Boys 04 lost against PAOK FC by 1-5 and Boys 03 lost against BK Höllviken by 0-1.
In addition to this, AIK have participated in Invitational Cup before. During Invitational Cup 2014, AIK had two teams playing in Boys 03 and Boys 02 respectively. Two teams played until Semi final in Play-Off A; Boys 03 lost against JK Tallinna Kalev by 4-9 and Boys 02 lost against Crystal Palace FC by 1-5. AIK comes from Solna which lies approximately 5 km from Djursholm, where Invitational Cup takes place. The area around Solna does also provide five additional clubs participating during Invitational Cup 2015 (Hammarby IF FF, IF Brommapojkarna, IFK Lidingö FK, Jarlabergs IF and FC Djursholm). 11 games playedGoals |
