FC Djursholm was one of 16 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Invitational Cup 2016. They participated with three teams in Boys 05, Boys 04 and Girls 04 respectively. Three teams played until 13-14 in Play-Off B; Boys 05 lost against HJK Helsinki by 0-8, Boys 04 lost against TPS Turku by 0-3 and Girls 04 lost against Vaksala SK by 5-6.
In addition to this, FC Djursholm have participated in Invitational Cup before. During Invitational Cup 2015, FC Djursholm had two teams playing in Boys 04 and Boys 03 respectively. The team in Boys 03 made it to the the Final in Play-Off Band won it over Sjömarken/Sandared IF by 6-5. FC Djursholm originates from Djursholm, which is the same city as where Invitational Cup takes place. The area around Djursholm does also provide six additional clubs participating during Invitational Cup 2016 (AIK, IF Brommapojkarna, Djurgårdens IF FF, Hammarby IF FF, IFK Stocksund and Saltsjö-Boo IF). 17 games playedGoals |
