In addition to AIK, 15 other teams from 4 different countries played in Boys 05. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof AIK could be found in Group B together with Trelleborg United FF, HJK Helsinki and JK Tabasalu.
AIK continued to Play-Off A after reaching 1:st place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Hammarby IF FF with 1-2. In the Final, Hammarby IF FF won over IF Brommapojkarna and became the winner of Play-Off A in Boys 05. AIK also participated in Boys 04 during Invitational Cup 2015.
