Hammarby IF FF was one of 16 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Invitational Cup 2016. They participated with two teams in Boys 05 and Boys 04 respectively. The team in Boys 05 made it to the the Final in Play-Off Aand won it over IF Brommapojkarna by 5-4.
In addition to this, Hammarby IF FF have participated in Invitational Cup before. During Invitational Cup 2015, Hammarby had one team playing in Boys 03. The team in Boys 03 made it to the the Semi final in Play-Off A, but lost it against Feyenoord by 0-2. Hammarby comes from Johanneshov which lies approximately 12 km from Djursholm, where Invitational Cup takes place. The area around Johanneshov does also provide six additional clubs participating during Invitational Cup 2016 (AIK, FC Djursholm, IF Brommapojkarna, Djurgårdens IF FF, IFK Stocksund and Saltsjö-Boo IF). 12 games playedGoals |
