Lørenskog IF was one of three clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Invitational Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 02.
In addition to Lørenskog IF, 27 other teams from 7 different countries played in Boys 02. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Lørenskog IF could be found in Group D together with FC København, Hammarby IF FF and Västerås IK. Lørenskog IF continued to Play-Off B after reaching 4:th place in Group D. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Tabasalu JK with 0-4. In the Final, Hammarby IF FF won over Vålerenga Fotball and became the winner of Play-Off B in Boys 02. Lørenskog comes from Lörenskog which lies approximately 400 km from Djursholm, where Invitational Cup takes place. The area around Lörenskog does also provide two additional clubs participating during Invitational Cup 2014 (Stabæk Fotball and Vålerenga Fotball). 5 games playedGoals |
