IFK Stocksund was one of 16 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Invitational Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 04.
In addition to IFK Stocksund, 19 other teams from 7 different countries played in Boys 04. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof IFK Stocksund could be found in Group D together with Kalmar FF, SJK, Boldklubben Søllerød Vedbæk and IF Brommapojkarna. IFK Stocksund continued to Play-Off C after reaching 4:th place in Group D. In the playoff they made it to 13-14, but lost it against IFK Göteborg with 1-2. In the Final, Harju JK won over IFK Göteborg and became the winner of Play-Off C in Boys 04. IFK Stocksund comes from Stocksund which lies approximately 3 km from Djursholm, where Invitational Cup takes place.
