Kalmar FF was one of 16 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Invitational Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 04.
In addition to Kalmar FF, 19 other teams from 7 different countries played in Boys 04. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Kalmar FF could be found in Group D together with IFK Stocksund, SJK, Boldklubben Søllerød Vedbæk and IF Brommapojkarna. Kalmar FF continued to Play-Off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group D. In the playoff they made it to 9-10, but lost it against FC Djursholm with 0-3. In the Final, TPS Turku won over FC Djursholm and became the winner of Play-Off B in Boys 04. Kalmar FF also participated in Boys 04 during Invitational Cup 2015. They reached the 1/4 Final in B04 Play-Off B, but lost it against Västerås IK with 2-4.
